Delete your data
Unladen has no accounts. Most of what you put into Unladen never leaves your phone, so you can delete it yourself straight away. For the little we do receive, email us and we will delete it.
1. Delete your check-ins (on your phone)
Your check-ins, private records, PIN and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them and have no copy.
To delete them, do any one of these:
- Uninstall the Unladen app, or
- On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Unladen → Storage → Clear storage, or
- If you use Unladen in a web browser, clear the site data for unladen.com.au.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot recover it.
2. Ask us to delete what we hold
Email hello@unladen.com.au with the subject Delete my Unladen data. Tell us roughly what you sent and when (for example, "feedback on the Rail version in October"), and the email address if you gave one.
We will delete it and confirm by email within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Feedback answers and AI reply reports: deleted on request. These are anonymous, so we may need the details above to find yours. Otherwise we delete them when they are no longer needed to improve Unladen.
- Suggestions for a new version, and any email address you added: deleted on request.
- Messages to the AI guide: Unladen does not keep these, so there is nothing for us to delete. They are processed by Anthropic to produce a reply, under its own privacy policy.
- Emails you send us: deleted on request, unless we must keep a record by law.
We do not keep backups of deleted feedback.
For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
